Visitor Days

Visitor Days will be held every Wednesday during the summer season for visitors to come and see the Camp in action.  These will be reservation only events with reservations accepted starting May 17, 2013 at the State Convention.

Diabetes Alert Day - March 26, 2013

You and your Club are invited to participate in a diabetes awareness project in your community on Diabetes Alert Day, March 26, 2013. It is our hope that you choose to join the clubs of Wisconsin who understand and work toward the Wisconsin Lions diabetes vision: “We Serve by reaching, touching, and improving lives of people with diabetes, and promoting awareness to people at risk.”

16th Annual Birch-Sturm Memorial Golf Outing

This is a golf outing we hold to benefit the Wisconsin Lions Foundation’s general operations, which funds its projects, including Wisconsin Lions Camp.  It will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Glacier Woods Golf Course in Iola, Wisconsin.  If you are not a golfer, you can help us with sponsorships for the Outing.  This is an excellent way to promote a club, an event, or simply advertise a business. There are two levels of sponsorship.

Hole Sponsorship
$100 – this level of sponsorship gives you signage recognizing your donation at the golf course and recognition in publications for the Wisconsin Lions Foundation.

Camper Sponsorship
$600 - this level of sponsorship gives you limited customized sign recognizing your donation at the golf course and a picture and personal thank you note from the camper whose week of camp you sponsored. Sponsors can support a camper from their area and know they made a difference to that one child.  Sponsors can also take advantage of the opportunity to sponsor the same camper year after year.

Fall Fun Run/Walk and Ride

Help support our Summer Camp Program that provides a free camp experience for Wisconsin youth and adults who are Blind or Visually Impaired, Deaf or Hard of Hearing, youth with mild cognitive disabilities and youth with Type I or Type II diabetes.  Click here for more information about the 2013 Fall Fun Run/Walk and Ride.

Lions Camp for Kids Raffle

This is our annual raffle held to raise funds for the Wisconsin Lions Camp.  Tickets are available for $10.00 each.  The prizes are all cash.
