The first six months of the Lionistic year are officially in the books. It has been a busy time for all five of our projects. We are happy to report the following numbers:

  • Wisconsin Lions Camp – For the full summer of 2025, a total of 1,007 campers across all 10 districts were served free-of-charge. For a detailed breakdown of attendees by district and population, check out our Who’s Who Report.
  • Eyeglass Recycling – Our Eyeglass Recycling Center is continuing to work as hard as possible to supply eyeglasses for missions around the world. Since July 1st, a total of 432,475 eyeglasses have been received, with 73,920 eyeglasses being shipped to a total of 44 missions throughout the world.
  • Vision Screening – Lions throughout the state spent the fall semester conducting vision screenings at schools and community events. In just six months, a total of 78,688 children were screened around the state, with 9,236 children being referred for further follow-up with an Eye Health Professional.
  • Hearing – There were a total of 19 hearing applications approved to purchase 19 hearing aids for people in need across Wisconsin. Additionally, 5,300 hearing aids were sent in for the recycling credit.
  • Diabetes Awareness – So far, 35,452 pieces of diabetes awareness materials have been sent to clubs around the state. This project is currently undergoing changes to be more impactful for children with diabetes.
